May 20th, 2026 — From June 13th to 28th, 2026 the Academy of Arts will present two-week pop-up gallery FREIRAUM KUNST (Free Space Art). Akademie der Künste Goes Bellevue, at Bellevue Palace (Schloss Bellevue, Spreeweg 1, 10557 Berlin-Tiergarten), transforming the official residence of the Federal President into a temporary arts venue. This unique exhibition is made possible because the palace must be vacated before its renovation.

Featuring, among others, Hanna Hartman (CRF 2026), Bjørn Melhus (CRF 2006), and Chiyoko Szlavnics (CRF 2016), there will be a special opening on June 12th at 7 PM before its run from the 13th to the 28th (Mon–Fri 11 AM-7 PM; Sat, Sun 10 AM-7 PM).
