While at Civitella I continued working with wood boards to create sculptures. With the help of the staff I was able to source wood the very first day I was there and I went into production the first week. The pieces I developed reference the ideas of Joaquín Torres-García and Universal Constructivism. I also produced work inspired by the place made with Olive wood, olive oil, and a mysterious graffiti found in the old prison of Montone.
