My time at Civitella will be one I will always treasure: the stunningly beautiful rustic setting, the long walks, the delicious meals, the inspiring and invigorating conversations, the birth of new friendships, the time and space to think, create, learn and explore. I came to work on a double concerto for two violas and string orchestra and found new and deepened ways of thinking about my music.
