The residency couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I was at a point where my practice as an artist was evolving in other paths, and I felt the need to be away from home for a period of time to begin the initial research. Also, after the year 2020 which was particularly challenging for everyone, it was a chance to be surrounded by such inspiring people.
