My time at Civitella Ranieri was invaluable for getting into balance again after intense months of work. When I arrived at the castle I was coming from the production of a short film (Hombre Dorado) I had been working for the past year. Pressure and stress were high considering the responsibilities that come with a film shoot. However, during my residency at Civitella I was able to slowdown and concentrate in editing and finishing the film in an extraordinary environment, a comfortable studio space inside a beautiful castle. I am very grateful for a time I will probably never have again and for the moments I had the opportunity to share with a group of sensible, open and welcoming Fellows, guests and staff members. This period moved me in a very positive way and reassured me why I should continue my artistic practice. Thanks Civitella Ranieri!
