A new edition of “Hamas: Dalla resistenza al regime” by Italian journalist Paola Caridi (CRF 2021) has been published in Italy. An updated English version is also available from Seven Stories Press. Caridi, informed by years of on-the-ground research and interviews with residents of Gaza and leaders of Hamas, covered the history of Gaza from its golden age as a port city to the formal birth and slow militarization of Hamas. An expert in Middle-eastern history and relations, she expanded her original inquiry about the palestinian military movement with three new chapters. The book’s first edition has also been released in the USA with the title “Hamas: From Resistance to Regime.”
Talks and a book tour by Caridi are happening throughout December 2023.
