The New York Times recently featured Composer Henry Threadgill (CRF 2001) about his new memoir, “Easily Slip Into Another World,” and his new album, “The Other One,” which Threadgill has also incorporated into a music documentary. Book critic Dwight Garner praised the memoir, about Threadgill’s life as a musician and his experience fighting in the Vietnam War, saying, “Threadgill has a complex mind and tactile sense of life on this planet.”
