January 14th, 2026 — As the featured artist of Our Unfinished Revolution(s), a major exhibition on view at the Emily Lowe Gallery at Hofstra University, Jeremy Dennis (CRF 2025) presents six new works created, in part, during his Civitella residency.

Jeremy writes,
“I’m deeply grateful to Civitella Ranieri for the space, care, and community that supported the creation of this new work. The residency allowed me to push my practice in meaningful ways, and I look forward to sharing the results very soon.”
Part of the national commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, from January 27th to July 24 the exhibition asks a necessary question: whose freedom, whose revolution, and whose voices have been left unfinished? These works reflect on this history from an Indigenous perspective—considering land, sovereignty, survival, and the contradictions embedded in the nation’s founding ideals. Jeremy’s work is in conversation with 250 years of artistic responses to freedom, democracy, and resistance, alongside works by artists including William Hogarth, Alexander Calder, and Faith Ringgold.
Join him for an opening reception on February 5th, a conversation on March 5th about his work, process, and Indigenous perspectives on the 250th anniversary, and a gallery tour with the curator on April 9th.
