August 4th, 2026Ocean Vuong‘s (CRF 2016, DG 2022) solo photography exhibition I’m Sorry I Love You opens at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art this Thursday, August 6th in Hartford, Connecticut, where the Vietnamese artist—best known for his critically acclaimed poetry and prose—was raised.

In portraiture, landscape, and portraits, Ocean documents two decades of queer and immigrant life in the Connecticut River Valley.

On August 6th at 5 PM the gallery opens and at 6 PM Ocean will be in conversation with Dr. Quan Tran followed by a book signing. The evening is free, part of First Thursdays at the museum.
