“Motherlode,” Liz Collins’ (CRF 2023) career-spanning survey at the Rhode Island School of Design, coincides with “Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction,” a “groundbreaking” traveling show currently at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, it’s final stop.

Artnet writes, the show “[solidifies] her place within the canon of the medium. The show premiered at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in late 2023 and was subsequently shown at the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, making it one of the largest and most attended exhibitions dedicated to medium.”

Liz’s pieces “Heartbeat” (2019) and “Walking Wounded” (2011) are on view through September 13th at MoMA. Her work has also been adapted into select items at the MoMA Design Store.
