Motherlode, the first U.S. survey of multimedia artist and RISD alum Liz Collins (CRF 2023), is on view at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Museum in Providence, Rhode Island from July 19, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The exhibition spans over twenty years of work, showcasing more than 80 pieces including large-scale sculptural textiles, fashion, needlework, drawings, performance documentation, and ephemera. Organized by curator Kate Irvin of the Costume and Textiles Department, the show covers Collins’ practice from the late 1980s to the present.
An opening celebration is scheduled for July 17, and related public programming—such as gallery conversations and family sketching events—will take place throughout the run.
