An orchestra piece titled “Formid 1” that José-Luis Hurtado (CRF 2023) composed while in residence at Civitella last year premiered on October 13th with the Orquesta Filarmónica de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (OFUNAM) at Sala Nezahualcóyotl in Mexico City. The performance coincided with an honorable mention for José-Luis at the Federico Ibarra National Composition Competition. Congratulations, José-Luis!
