Ragnhild Berstad uses nature as inspiration, workplace, and sound material in her music. Her compositions include small and large ensembles, often combined with electronics. She collaborates with glass artists in development of glass instruments. Glass symbolizes the fragility of life. Glass instruments are used in several of her works – also in the work trãnseõ, for Klangforum Wien, performed at Donaueschinger Musiktage and Ultima Festival 2021. Other venues for her music include Warszaw Autumn; Transart Festival, Bolzano; Tonlagen-Festival, Dresden; ISCM in Seoul; and Focus! Festival, New York.
Khadijah Queen

Khadijah Queen, PhD, is the author of six books of innovative poetry and hybrid prose, most recently Anodyne (Tin House 2020), winner of the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America. With K. Ibura, she co-edited Infinite Constellations (FC2 2023), a multi-genre anthology of speculative writing by authors from the global majority. Individual works appear in Ploughshares, American Poetry Review, Harper’s Magazine, The Poetry Review (UK), and elsewhere. Her book of literary theory and criticism, Radical Poetics, is forthcoming from University of Michigan Press.
