Xiaowen Zhu (Incoming Fellow) announces the release of her artist book Oriental Silk 鄉綢. Published by Hatje Cantz and designed by Studio Cheval, this English-and-Chinese bilingual book links the people, places, and stories that make up the phenomenon of Oriental Silk, the first Chinese American silk importing shop in Los Angeles.
